J-Express pro version 2012 is now available for download
To install J-Express, download and execute the installation File (jexpress2012.exe or jexpress2012.jar) The installation file will guide you through the rest of the process.
Most operating systems will execute the file simply by double-clicking, but for other systems it may be necessary to start if from a command line shell with the command
java -jar jexpress2012.jar.

mulitplatform: For all non-windows operation system such as Mac, Linux Unix etc. with a Java runtime environment. You may have to install java 6.0 first (see www.java.com). Typical way of starting the installer is by double-clicking the setup.jar file or executing with the command java -jar setup.jar. There have been some reports from Mac users getting a message saying : java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file when running the installer. This happens if your Mac is running a java version earlier than version 6.0. To resolve this, choose the correct java version in your java preferences.
Windows: Should work on all versions of MS Windows, but you may have to install (or upgrade to) java 6.0 first (see www.java.com).
